Me place saber que existen en Chile una iniciativa de este género que tiene como meta la promoción de los valores cristianos que sustentan la familia: una institución tan importante para el bienestar humano y lamentablemente tan quebrantada en el presente. I am delighted to know that in Chile there is an initiative of this kind which aims at promoting Christian values that sustain the family: an institution so important for human welfare and so sadly broken in the present. No puedo menos que alentarlo en este apostolado y asegurarle mis oraciones para que el Señor lo siga iluminando y bendiciendo a usted, a sus colaboradores ya toda la familia chilena. El tema de la homosexualidad ha atraído la atención de moralistas e historiadores desde hace muchos siglos y aparece en forma relevante en las Sagradas Escrituras tanto del Antiguo como del Nuevo Testamento, donde hay una clara connotación negativa a los actos y prácticas homosexuales. The issue of homosexuality has attracted the attention of moralists and historians for many centuries and appears as relevant in the Holy Scriptures both Old and New Testaments, where there is a clear negative connotation to the acts and homosexual practices.
